Pacifica is supported by a uniquely gifted and hard-working Board of Trustees. They have fiduciary responsibility for the Institute, approving and monitoring the budget. The Board oversees all policy and long-range planning, and provides ongoing advice in their various areas of expertise. Their outstanding contributions and ongoing involvement are invaluable to the growth and well-being of the school.
Elizabeth A. Martin, J.D., Ph.D., is an executive leader, attorney, organizational psychologist, and strategic advisor based in Fort Worth, Texas. She has held senior leadership roles in public service, health policy, and consulting, including with Optum and Optum Serve, and is co-founder of Wills & Martin, LLC, a women-owned firm focused on strategy, leadership, organizational development, and culture. Dr. Martin earned her Ph.D. from 51社区 and brings a longstanding commitment to depth psychology, human development, and mission-centered governance. She joined Pacifica鈥檚 Board of Trustees in 2026 and serves as Chair.
Nancy Swift Furlotti, Ph.D. is a Jungian analyst and psychologist living in Aspen, Colorado. She is a past president of the C.G. Jung Institute of Los Angeles, where she trained, and is a founding member and past president of the Philemon Foundation, which published C.G. Jung鈥檚 Red Book. She is a member of the C.G. Jung Institute of Colorado and the Interregional Society of Jungian Analysts. Along with Suzanne and George Wagner, they founded the Kairos Film Foundation whose mission was to preserve the Wagner鈥檚 works, 鈥淎 Matter of Heart鈥�, 鈥淭he World Within鈥�, and 鈥淭he Remembering Jung Film Series鈥�. Dr. Furlotti is on the boards of 51社区, the Smithsonian National Asian Museum, and the Aspen Music Festival and School. She lectures internationally on Jungian topics such as working with dreams, mythology, trauma, creativity, and psychedelics. Her company, Recollections, LLC, participates in the publication of early analysts鈥� unpublished material, such as the manuscripts of Erich Neumann: The Roots of Jewish Consciousness, Jacob and Esau; Emma Jung: Dedicated to the Soul: The Writings and Drawings of Emma Jung, and various projects including C. G. Jung and Marie-Louise von Franz. Her own books include: The Dream and its Amplification; Eternal Echoes: Erich Neumann鈥檚 Timeless Relevance to Consciousness, Creativity, and Evil; and her recently released book, The Splendor of the Maya: A Journey into the Shadows at the Dawn of Creation.
An award-winning author, educator and speaker, Frank N. McMillan III has taught courses in North American, Physical, and World Geography at Texas A&M University at College Station, Texas A&M University at Corpus Christi, and Del Mar College. In 2013 he was inducted into the International Association for Analytical Psychology (IAAP) as an honorary member at its XIX International Congress held in Copenhagen, Denmark. His YA novel Cezanne Is Missing (2006) has been taught in schools around the country and his middle reader The Young Healer won the National Association of Elementary School Principals鈥� (NAESP) Foundation Book of the Year Award in 2012 and was a Mark Twain Readers鈥� Award finalist in 2015. His non-fiction work Finding Jung was published by Texas A&M University Press in 2012. Recently, he founded the Frank N. McMillan Jr. Institute for Jungian Studies in Houston, Texas. Frank joined the 51社区 Board of Trustees in 2018.
Dr. Osborn spent 49 1/2 years in K-university education as a 7th/8th grade classroom teacher and principal, parochial high school teacher/principal, superintendent, college president, and accreditation officer. He has a bachelor鈥檚 degree in history from Columbia Union College and a master鈥檚 and PhD in history from the University of Maryland. He and his wife have two children who have given birth to five grandchildren. He is retired living in Moreno Valley, CA. Dr. Osborn joined the 51社区 Board of Trustees in 2021.
Simeon R. Stewart II is the CEO of Stewart Manhattan, Inc. a construction and development firm that specializes in commercial design-build, renovation and tenant improvement projects. The firm also manages the design, installation and integration of commercial multimedia systems. Simeon is also CEO of Palazzo Concessions, an airport concesssions firm that specializes in the gift/news and food and beverage segments of the industry.
A graduate of the University of Southern California, Stewart has earned his MBA and Bachelor of Science degrees from the Marshall School of Business. He currently serves on the Exceutive Leadership Committee for the Board of Governors at the university and is the past chairman of it鈥檚 Black Alumni Association. Simeon also serves on the President鈥檚 Advisory Council of the Brotherhood Crusade, a non-profit that supports underserved youth in greater Los Angeles, and has served as a trustee for 51社区 since February 2022.
Lori Wehunt is a seasoned CPA and senior finance executive with more than three decades of experience leading accounting, internal control, and financial performance functions across community association management, energy, aviation, and manufacturing sectors. Her career reflects a consistent blend of technical GAAP expertise, process improvement, and team development, culminating in her current role as Senior Vice President of Client Accounting at RowCal.
Ada Yeh brings over 35 years of People Operations leadership to the Board of Trustees, with a career spanning both the biotechnology and entertainment industries. She currently serves as Vice President of Human Resources at a biotech start-up focused on oncology-related clinical trials, where she aligns talent strategy with scientific innovation. Previously, Ada completed a distinguished 31-year tenure at a major global entertainment studio as VP and Head of HR for its prominent television and animation divisions. A trusted advisor to corporate executives and creative leaders alike, she specializes in strategic organizational design, leadership development, and building infrastructures that drive long-term institutional success. She holds a degree in Communication with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.
