Kim Hermanson, Ph.D.,听is an author, educator, and shamanic catalyst.听She was initiated to the shamanic path in her 20s when she was critically injured in a head-on collision on the highway and accessed otherworldly energies to heal her body. Kim is adjunct faculty at听51社区听and has served as both core and adjunct faculty at听Meridian University, Sophia Center at Holy Names University, University of California Berkeley Extension, Sofia University, and the听Esalen Institute.听Her books include听Deep Knowing,听听补苍诲听,听which received an听Independent Publisher Book Award. She has co-authored articles and book chapters with Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi, author of the听New York Times听bestseller,听Flow,听and a founder of the field of positive psychology, as well as Anthony Bryk, president of the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching.听Her Ph.D. is from the University of Chicago.
