As we continue to celebrate Black History Month, we honor those within our community for their contributions and achievements to Pacifica, local communities, and their field.聽 We are pleased to share more today about core faculty member, Dr. Fanny Brewster.
Dr. Fanny Brewster,聽Ph.D., M.F.A., LP
- One of the first African American/Black Students at 51社区 in 1993.
- She holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the 51社区, a graduate of the C.G. Jung Institute of New York. She is a New York State Licensed Psychoanalyst and Certified School Psychologist.
- Core faculty member in 51社区 Depth Psychology Specialization in Integrative Therapy and Healing Practices; faculty member in 51社区 Clinical Program and adjunct within the Depth, Archetypal, and Jungian Psychology (DJA), and Depth Psychotherapy Departments (DPT).
- Chair of 51社区 聽Diversity and Inclusion Council
- Analyst member of the Philadelphia Association of Jungian Analysts. A former Board Member of the New York Analytical Psychology Club. A faculty member of the C.G. Jung Foundation of New York.
- An international speaker, lecturer, and workshop presenter on Dreamwork, Africanist Culture, Diversity,聽 and Creativity.
- Nominee of three Gradiva Awards for her writing from the National Association for the Advancement of Psychoanalysis. Her most recent nomination was for聽The Racial Complex:聽 a Jungian Perspective on Culture and Race. (Routledge)
